Hamas we're clearly using to boot of the car as a base.

Please dont tell us anymore that civilians arent being targeted. This is state sponsored terrorism with the tacit approval of the international community.

This was a family of 5, only the mother survived.

the car got down the road, saw the tank a matter of a few meters away, saw it training its aim and tried to turn around. it's coward scum in the tank, the cowards excuse will be it considered the car and its occupants a threat. it's very difficult at times like this to not want a few missiles to get through and do some return harm. the scars of this conflict will fuel the pain and distress of the next few decades.

dna identification of a young German lady abducted from the music festival. what's hinted at aint nice.

While Israeli's embassy in Ireland launches attacks at the President and the Government and the people of Ireland so demanding a cease fire, it fails to mention the bombs they are dropping on apartments and mosques probably went through Shannon Airport.

Are the Irish, whose closest military ally already has a beachhead on the island, supposed to start making demands of the US?

"Where is this plane going, and what is it carrying?"
"None of your business."
"Right, off you pop."

There are things to get upset about, but this isn't one of them. All raising a stink would accomplish is the symbolic goal of having the plane stop somewhere in Britain instead, and the US would exact a more meaningful diplomatic price in reply. Countries save raising that sort of fuss for when diplomatic relations have already deteriorated to the point where there's nothing to lose.

It might even things up a bit if the palastinians could get hold of a few anti tank missiles.

Fine to tell me if I'm out of order here.

While I'm of the opinion that even one incident is too many, these huge percentage figures being bandied around to illustrate the massive rise in antisemitism since 7th October are still only in double figures, up to 89 incidents vs 22 over the same period in 2022, in a population of 67 million.

Any instance of antisemitism is gross, A cynic might suggest that they're using percentages to make it seem far worse than it is.

They're doing the same thing with incidences of Islamophobia, too.

I didnt make any comment eithet way as to whether Ireland should allow the use of Shannon airport.

I'm highlighting the hypocrisy and propaganda of the Israeli state. Talking out of both sides of their mouth.

I would be handy to know how they are classifying it as well

Some can conflate criticism of the Israeli government or Hamas with criticism of the Jewish or Muslim people respectively

It seems little Ireland has become public enemy #1 amongst European states as far as Israel is concerned.

All because our Government and Opposition, as well as our President have had the cheek to say that Israel's response should be proportionate and not to be killing civilians.

How very dare we !!

Israel ramping up the criticism of Ireland:

Israel’s foreign affairs Minister Eli Cohen said he spoke to Ms Erlich and said she is representing Israel “in one of the more challenging arenas for Israel”.

“Today I spoke with Israel's ambassador to Ireland, Dana Ehrlich, and thanked her for her firm stand in representing the State of Israel in one of the more challenging arenas for Israel in Europe,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Alongside our heroic fighters at the front in the south and north, we have men and women working day and night to strengthen international support for the State of Israel.”

The minister also included a screenshot of a photograph from an article from Israeli news outlet Ynet, showing Ms Erlich covered in blood, with a blood-stained Israeli flag behind her. (o_O WTF???)

The article described Ireland as one of the “most hostile countries to Israel in Europe”.

It also said President Michael D Higgins is a “prominent critic of Israel globally”.

Still happy to use fake Irish passports for Mossad agents to travel for assassination attempts all the same.

Looks like they found Shani Louks remains. She was kidnapped from the music festival. She was decapitated.

That‘s the thing with wars and high levels of death, the high numbers sort of get put aside. It only really hits people when it comes down to an individual death perpetrated in the cruelest of actions….
