Nothing Douglas Murray has ever written has been interesting. The whole piece is the same sort of thing he's made a career out of writing - that everything wrong in society is because of immigrants, and if they'd all just leave we would go back to believing all the things that he does - but I found this section especially rancid:

Israel has hardly responded at all so far. It is clearly gearing up to do so. But already the anti-Semites in our midst – all hiding behind “support for the Palestinian cause” – have made the usual blood libels against the Jews.

When a hospital in Gaza was said to have been attacked, everyone from the First Minister of Scotland to Labour MPs and the BBC all jumped to the conclusion that it was an Israeli war crime.

They claimed that hundreds of people had been killed – including hundreds of children. The BBC (which has the temerity to have a “verification” and “fact-checking” department) pumped out this fake news. In medieval times, anti-Semites accused the Jews of poisoning the wells. In our own times, the BBC and others do what Jewish people were accused of.

As anyone who has ever covered a conflict should know, you wait when an event like this occurs. Sure enough, we now know that, firstly, it was the hospital car park that was hit. And second that it was probably a hit from a Palestinian rocket which “misfired”.

We know many of the victims were children because of the (mercifully unbroadcast on national media) footage of the immediate aftermath. The doctors at the hospital literally gave a press conference surrounded by the corpses of the dead. He claims that only the hospital car park was hit, when that was precisely where many people were sheltering (hence the large number of killed). All the people at the scene believed that the Israelis had hit it, including a British doctor who was actually there. The First Minister of Scotland actually has family members in Gaza under siege.

To try and claim that accurately reporting what happened at that hospital is akin to the blood libel, or the claim that Jews spread the plague via poisoned wells, is incredibly offensive. There is abundant evidence presented to us, on an hourly basis, of what the Israeli government are doing, but Murray wants you to ignore all of it.

The biggest problem the West has is that Douglas Murray and his ilk are in positions of influence.

...except that it's not a silly name in relation to Apartheid Israel, its a statement of fact. They have race laws passed by the Knesset which underlines that.
