Crazy isn’t it. After a video surfaced earlier in the week that Hamas was celebrating there. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer comes to mind.Rather insane that anyone let alone a supposedly democratic state as Israel is bombing civillian infrastructure with hundreds of of people inside just to take 1 or 2 Hamas fighterS out. Morally reprehensible yet fair few in West are wetting themselves with excitement at the prospect.
And what is so sickening our Government should asking why the Hamas leadership is being safely harboured in Qatar a key ally to the West...
sorry if this is a repost:
Hamas has, in its own eyes and minds, justification to exist, stop that and the area walks towards peace. Two sides at war. (What is it good for? absolutely nothing, etc)
With Israel...this time...as the aggrieved party, having done the 'eye for an eye' thing, must now, to stop from falling in to the Hamas 'over reaction trap' do (and be) the 'grown-up' thing in this conflict.
Stop at the border and turn back on on the water and power - effectively suspend the sentence - while pursuing the real originators, who are probably long gone.
Laying out for all to see - a detailed plan of destruction should there be any repeat of the barbaric attacks.
Not to do so, to just roll in the tanks then go house to house...which is no job for tanks...where you can't tell combatants from civilians, will be ultimately self defeating, expensive in more ways than one, and more that likely unwinnable.
Bearing in mind even though...The price of freedom May be eternal vigilance...that they must be prepared to Un-suspend the sentence at any time.
Because Hamas will, wrongly...after a time, just see this as weakness and won't be able to help themselves.
If there is a 'Civilised' way to end this, it will be up to Israel to do it - nobody else can and I'm not sure Hamas even want to.
Yes. And they are.At what point does the likes of the US and UK stop defending what Israel is doing? Will they stand by and watch them massacre hundreds of thousands of Palestinians? They're complicit of genocide if so given the level of support they offer Israel.
Surely this would be the end of their respective governments' chances of winning their next elections.
Extremely sad. That makes the likes of the UK and US no better than Hamas.Yes. And they are.
Same with Saudi in Yemen, and the Saudis don't even have the fig leaf of being attacked themselves. At what point does the likes of the US and UK stop defending what Israel is doing? Will they stand by and watch them massacre hundreds of thousands of Palestinians? They're complicit of genocide if so given the level of support they offer Israel.
Surely this would be the end of their respective governments' chances of winning their next elections.
