But, being honest, if you were an Israeli and what happened came out of the blue, which apparently it did, what would you recommend the Israeli authorities to do, suck it up or do something. If you were to answer do something then what would that something be…….

It cannot be just a response of force, greater than the casualties inflicted. It has to have an option of reconcilliation.
It is also important to focus on the two players, Palestine and Israel. There are secondary forces behind each that, to survive, need perpetual conflict, Hamas is one, and the arms/security industry is the other. This violence begets violence scenario eliminates a peace option, so the choice of extreme retribution seems the only option, put forwards by international helmets like Netanyahu and his supporters in the US, miles from the conflict.
If Israel want these attacks to stop, firstly it has to stop attacking innocent people in Palestine, it then needs to seek peace, it also has to restore stolen land back to Palestine. The Palestinians would stop seeing Hamas as on their side and organic democracy would develop.
But I'm dreaming and hoping.
The religions of Abraham are built on bloodlust and as such use words like sacrifice and blood rites, martydom and heroes and whilst money can be made, it's just, kill, maim, kill repeat.

I disagree and the evidence is overwhelming. If you look at the US and look into political powerbrokers, media moguls, finance houses, Hollywood, Federal Reserve chiefs, Facebook, Amazon etc etc. For a tiny minority they have way too much power and influence in the West and they didn’t get that power and influence without working together, in a Cabal.

There are some historic reasons some Jews held a lot of positions close to power, much to do with self-protection. We all know about their long history of persecution. It often made them unpopular, but safe.

The vast majority of Jews aren't rich or influential.

And maybe, just maybe, they hold a lot of these positions through talent and hard work.

I don’t think it’s anti-Semitic to state that within the Jewish population there is a Cabal working for their own interests. It’s similar to saying that with Italian population there is a Mafia that exists which works in its own interests.
The problem lies within the greater Jewish community ignoring or failing to hold this community to account. That’s what has happened in Israel and this Cabal just sacrificed 1500+ of their own to further their own interests.

They would still exist, the people of Gaza are subject to an air and sea blockade so rely solely on the Israeli and Egypt borders for the delivery of food, water and vital goods
