Zat steamed in with that opening post knowing what he'd cop back so he could play the victim = sinister.
Don't think Israel actually cares about hearts and minds and neither does it need too at this point. History won't be kind to Israel of this time either. And well aware of Jewish people who aghast at its current government actions. They will wear this stain like we do with slavery and darkness of Empire.Well Israel is doing a pretty piss-poor job of winning hearts and minds.
All they’ve succeeded in doing is restocking Hamas ranks for the next 5 years with willing fighters.
Israel has to break this endless cycle of violence.
1. Provide the framework for a free independent Palestinian state free of Israeli settlers.
2. Provide financial assistance in kick starting this new Palestinian economy.
A free Palestine, with solid economic foundations, free trade, good healthcare and education means no more Hamas or other extremism and that means no more conflict.
Gaza isn’t a free state it’s a walled Prison camp controlled by Israel.
I had an interesting chat with an Israeli taxi driver a few years back when I was in Tel Aviv on business. He asked me where I was from and then went off on a rant about Muslims - calling them dogs who must be killed. He then stopped, paused and corrected himself and then said dogs can be trained and can be useful whilst the Muslim cannot and therefore as a wild animal must be hunted and killed.Don't think Israel actually cares about hearts and minds and neither does it need too at this point. Yep, and the world criticises them for reacting to itYup it’s a glorified prison camp
Unfortunately does not surprise me in the least, however, there are many people in Israel who are Jewish that don't hold those views, just hope it's them that can come to the forefront of their politics. In some ways Israel state behaves like an abused child can when it grows up. Becomes the abused but not all and it's those others will win through in the end.I had an interesting chat with an Israeli taxi driver a few years back when I was in Tel Aviv on business. I was shocked that
a/ A jew could talk openly about genocide
b/ How one race views another as sub-human animals.
I don’t hold out too many hopes for peace with those kind of views floating around.

I've come across plenty of people like that, too, Mutzo. I've also met plenty with similar views amongst Palestinians in the West Bank. It used to astound and sadden me but then I realised there are ignorant people all over the world, so why should Israel and Palestine be any different.I had an interesting chat with an Israeli taxi driver a few years back when I was in Tel Aviv on business. Not an entirely uncommon view, in my experience of Israelis, unfortunately.I had an interesting chat with an Israeli taxi driver a few years back when I was in Tel Aviv on business. I'm torn here, I have always liked isreal and wanted to visit, I've met plenty of isreali people and all were really nice, my understanding of what is happening is that hamas fire rockets indiscriminately into isreal who manage to intercept the vast majority of them but then retaliate against people who have no way of stopping the retaliation. With isreal saying they target buildings when they have intelligence that hamas terrorists are in but the entire world knows that hamas use civilians including children as human shields, which means isreal also know this but shoot regardless.
I wish there was a way for all this to end but I genuinely can't see how it will ever stop that land has been at war for thousands of years... damn religion.
What part lad?Are you really that naive?
