There’s been precious little additional military spending though, certainly here and across most of Europe. I know our rulers are incompetent but surely even they would have prepared for a war they wanted to start.

I don't mean to state the obvious here but as someone who actually knows a little about the situation I can confirm that this absolutely IS an Israel v Palestine issue. The IDF aren't attacking Hamas militants on a daily basis, they're encroaching onto Palestinian land, kidnapping innocent Palestinians, assaulting innocent Palestinian worshippers, murdering innocent Palestine kids and journalists, bulldozing innocent Palestinians homes I could go on.

Put the turps down and log off for the night.

After Hamas is destroyed there will still be Palestine. You can go back to ignoring it but it will still be there.

I’ve already said Hamas is not acting in the Palestinian interest, more than once. What I posted was that you are ignoring the history of the region, from all perspectives.
