He's transforming the way we play - and I guarantee that won't be plain sailing. It's unreasonable to suggest he'll do better than Moyes in his first season.
Even if he gets the transition sorted by Christmas, which in all honesty I think is optimistic, we've still lost 4 months of the season to the process.
On top of all that, we still don't know if we're losing two of our best players this transfer window.
I'd absolutely love him to get us there, but you can't seriously have the expectation of a top-6 finish.
the big plus is that its a very weak league below the top 7 and even more reason to think its the right time to try change/improve style. For some reason I see Arsenal as the most vulnerable of those above us, but sixth or seventh seems pretty certain this season to me unless it all really clicks immediately and we learn to counter attack. sixth or seventh just won't be as dull as it would have been... and maybe we will show a different approach in the cups. season after this one is the big test though
