Now there are sharks popping up off the coast of Ireland lol

Thanks for sharing this clip @Khalekan Unlike some people, I really appreciate sharks and the millions of years they have been around this planet but I definitely don’t want to be around them when I’m swimming in the sea, but checking them out from far away as these people do in the clip would be a delightful sight.

In Australia, they are trying to re-brand the shark in an attempt to correct the negative image people have of sharks.

That’s great. Such campaign should be happening all over the world and there should also be a ban about fishing them for their fins, humans are putting on the brink of extinction a species that have been around the earth for millions of years. It is so upsetting.

Was paddling on a Louth beach yesterday ( and until Tuesday) and never felt the sea as warm.

Article in The Irish Independent today how our warming seas may be becoming welcome to the Great White although every chance they have been here before but not seen.

I will go out as far as the water licks my knees lol

With more chat of the Protocol provisions being kicked down the road it'd be great to hear from Blues living in the North as to whether there's any major negative effects really being seen?

With Covid I've not been back for almost 2 years so be curious as to how its getting on?

No changes at all. No shortages in shops, no extra provisions for crossing the border or anything like that.

I have noticed more smaller Irish suppliers in the supermarkets which is good, probably a bit of ‘just in case’ going on but everyone is a winner in that scenario.

I can only talk anecdotally but There are definitely more gaps on shelves at some supermarkets, if you’re in Liverpool a few in the city centre definitely have less stock .

don’t really want to get into arguing the why’s or wherefores but it’s absolutely something I’ve personally experienced.
