Current Affairs Irish Border and Brexit

I have worked with them on their "emerging technologies" and they have none.

They are about data and like the ad you linked points out analytics.

Do you know anything about Accenture or was it the first thing you found in google?

I worked for them for 6 years and did projects with them on other projects as a consultant i can tell you first hand thats all nonsense. What they are advertising is what they could do if someone gave them the chance. It's mainly waffle.

I have worked with and still work with two of leaders in emerging tec in the automation field and although their are ways to help a border or border type stuff no one has anything that would be ready to be used and it would take a year or two to get something working. As other have mentioned also its a big undertaking.

Your ignorance on this thread has been deafening you are out of your depth quite simply.

Someone sticks 2 pencils up their nostrils, shouts "wibble" and everything clicks into motion. It's state of the art Brexit-standard.
That’s about right.

To be fair, @RichardP has been articulate in his position and I respect his opinion but his suggestion that if Brexit doesn’t suit then uproot your family and place of birth is ludicrous. That is NI Unionist political ideology from the 1960’s and reinforced by Thatcher in her time.

Shows how out of touch with reality some of them are and what lengths they would be prepared to go to get their way. Unfortunately that's what happens when you have a narrow-minded and uncompromising point of view.

But yet he has suggested both of us are agenda driven and should broaden our outlook.

As border residents, from both sides of it, we have both seen what the EU has actually delivered infrastructurally as well embedding peace. I personally feel that this has never been understood by those Brexiteers who consider us just as pawns in a big negotiating pantomime.

Most brexiteers think britain actually paid for the infrastructure projects because of how much they put in to the EU. I bet that includes project south of the border.

So why not leave and handle it themselves haha!!

Judging by some of the anti EU rethoric on here they could care less about how anyone else feels simply because Ireland wishes to remain so our points are invalid to them and we should butt out. Yet most of them acknowledge the GFA should be acknowledged and discussed but cannot give an answer at the same time, other than "it will all be the same" or "none of your concern" or "the EU is using you"......

Mad the history of the two islands how they cannot see why ireland and the people off NI might take issue with the whole thing.

But sure your right the big evil EU is using Ireland to feck with England blah blah blah.....

If you like, yes, but it quotes existing and evolving technology which, with common sense and goodwill and cooperation, is capable of squaring the circle wrt Irish border.

But as you say it needs common sense, goodwill and cooperation. All of which are missing at the moment.....

That comment is ridiculously crass.
Why not just lay a lot of dynamite along the border, and then blow it up to separate the two countries? That would sort all the problems!

What is narrow minded and uncompromising about ensuring that a democratic decision with a majority of 17.4 million is respected?
