If you read the document I posted, even the ROI are stating that there will be no restriction on movement of people between the U.K. and ROI and that agreement predates joining the E.U......
Blimey Pete, even European Union citizens? The document you posted says this? Gosh! What agreement is this of which you speak?

Laughable

I meant the financial disaster that Brexit will be for NI. Westminster will not replicate the funding that that the EU has poured into us. Our peace process would not have endured without European financial support.

Varadkar has consistently upheld the GFA and the EU has backed him as a member state. What else did you expect to happen?

NI will be fine. The U.K. will look after its own. The ROI however will find out all about E.U. solidarity very quickly....

NI isn’t Leave though Pete, we voted Remain for actual informed reasons.

As for Westminster looking after NI? To be polite Pete, I could rant here but I will highlight Theresa being propped up by a minority opinion because it suits Tory needs. NI interests are incidental.

But what is the real issue. The ROI have confirmed that the CTA takes precedence over the E.U. so people can move freely between the ROI and U.K. so now we’re talking about goods and they are mostly done via computers and processes. So what’s left, a few guys selling bits of stuff over the border, someone painting a house over the border. It’s all crap that has been blown up to provide a political argument to the benefit of the E.U. while being detrimental to the folk on both sides of the border.....

So you will be content to have open border entry to anyone who lands in London?

How do you plan to receive a Belfast to Liverpool flight to determine who is British/Irish?

You either have a U.K. passport or an Irish passport. Just read the ROI document I posted regarding a no deal......section 10 I think......

Pete, I worked on that document.

When I go to games now I do not need to show a passport to travel to Liverpool, photographic ID is fine. I travel on my work ID.

How do you propose John Lennon differentiating me from a non Irish/British person?

I don’t think we will. However any non Irish travelers should show a passport. They may still get in. The difference is that if found when here to have entered illegally via the ROI then they will be returned,... and vice versa....

Again though guys, the CTA provides for free movement. The U.K. government has put into law that there will not be a hard border. So who exactly is going to build one......because it won’t be us.....

Hard to know where to start with this. Firstly NI isn't a British possession that you own. Around half the population of this statelet, which was created in such a way as to give unionists a permanent majority, do not wish to be part of the UK as it is now, never mind one that leaves the EU without a deal which respects the GFA. The only people that the UK 'looks after' are the DUP whose support the Tory government need to remain in power.

As for the rest of Ireland, the EU has stood strong with the wishes of the government and the people that the all island economy must continue and the rights of EU citizens in NI to remain in the EU as provided for in the GFA must be upheld. There was no backing down from that position as Teresa May and her Brexit negotiating team found out.

If you think that going to the EU to kick ass with a change of leadership in the UK is going to cause a reversal of this you are badly mistaken.

Indeed it is hard to start with your comments. NI is part of the U.K. It is not a British posession, it is part of the U.K. You may not like or even accept that position, but it is a fact nonetheless. People may not wish to be part of the U.K., just as some people in the ROI previously did want to belong in the U.K. Majority rules, as always. If NI wishes to leave the U.K. then we shall wish them well as they pursue their chosen course.

The U.K. looks after everyone in NI, even though some apparently don’t really deserve it.

The E.U. couldn’t give a toss about the ROI and will show you so when after Brexit, France and Germany insist that your corporation tax is ‘harmonised’ with the E.U. and Industry moves to the U.K.. Only then might you realise that your best friend in the E.U. was actually the U.K. but I’m sure you are too bitter to accept that fact.

I hope you all have a great life in the E.U., I hope that they treat you well, however don’t come crying to the U.K. if it doesn’t happen. We all chose our future, you have chosen yours and we have done the same. Just live with it.....

I’m happy leaving the E.U. and I’m sure you are happy also, considering how much you seem to hate us...

Bitterness and hate eh ? Kinda ironic coming from someone hoping that Ireland gets badly hit by a no deal Brexit as payback for thwarting your efforts to leave the EU on the terms you want.

The rest of your post is so wrong it is not worth responding to.
