It's the centenary of the 1918 GE today when the people of Ireland voted to leave the UK but the result was not accepted.

How ironic is it that exactly 100 years later the tables have been turned 180 degrees and Ireland is frustrating the UK's efforts to leave the EU.

I would imagine consulting with the UN as I type, with what it actually means signing a formal treaty like the Good Friday aggrement. Detail it's all about the details.

No Pete. Them chinless wonders in the government still can't think of a fudge/legal workaround that will satisfy the DUP/ERG/assorted swivel eyed loons (who never even thought of this before the referendum, did they?) around the border question. Unless the DUP get another bribe/'assurance'......
