You can't keep blaming right-wing newspapers, or indeed, any newspaper from a bygone era, for directly affecting public opinion in the modern world.

Traditional news sources are becoming less relevant by the day... give it a few more years, and traditional newspapers, or "Mainstream" sources, such as the DM, or the Scum, are gone...

It's now social media, and multiple sources. Read multiple sources and make your own judgement...

This is true of quite a lot of media tbh, not defending the mail, telegraph, guardian or whatever, but fear and outrage sells papers, good news and nice stories don’t. It‘s not really an age thing, it’s what the media chose to publish….

I've also noticed that the front page headlines on the Express since the lockdowns (maybe longer) are absolutely insane. Way way out there.

You see some of the thuggish antics in this very CA forum by self proclaimed Liberals ?!

Its this self entitled behaviour and lack of self awareness in the new breed of Lefties that brings @ForeverBlue92 out in hives.

Old traditional Labour voters / socialists I have plenty of time for. The newer shouty shouty wokey types who claim to hold the keys to the kingdom whilst they do nothing but sin not so much.

The Right stand for the exact same thing the new breed of Left do - to divide and conquer the proletariat. They just do it in different guises. The Left however should stand for something more progressive like it used to do before it got engaged in culture wars and turned on the working class man.
