Truth is the only way to beat them is to remove the inferiority complex we have with them. Simple as that
We lose before a ball is kicked, we celebrate crap and then wonder why we can't beat them?
How many posters on this site were happy with the 1-1 a month ago? How much better they were than us and how we robbed them and wound klopp up in the process?
Case and point. We played crap, we were terrified of them as if we were coming out of the conference and was made up to get a lucky point despite the fact the only reason we never got hammered is because they treated us like a training ground session.
There isn't any pride in the club anymore, 4-0 defeats are treated as the norm, a point at anfield is treated like a good result. Nobody really cares anymore, it's just another win for them, just another defeat for us.
My first derby was 1994. We were bottom of the league or thereabouts, we only just stayed up the year before and just sacked the manager and brought Joe royle in. We were in a complete mess, very much like we have been this season. Except we turned up that night and played with passion and pride, we wanted to beat them. Where was that a month ago?
It's embarrassing, I stopped caring a long time ago because nobody else at the club truly cares about it.
