I liked it better when we had no money

Imagine a player like Cahill in the Everton squad now - a proper player and grafter and full of spirit. We don't have anyone like that now.

Moyes had his tactical limitations, but most of his signings were excellent, and I think it helped him being financially restrained.

Having said that, the Premier League is totally different now. There is just so much money in the game that we would be struggling even more if we didn't have this cash injection.

It still shouldn't stop sides actually putting the leg work in for player recruitment. We've now turned into a low rent Chelsea/City and overpay for players we don't really have to persuade to come.

Our best players are a £60k full back and a £8mill DM.

We’ve acted like vulgar lotto millionaires - double handful- Sky money through the roof and availability of credit via Moshiri. Crash bang wallop, forget what we had before, not good enough reckons the Dutch Moonhead, his ego spurned on by the new majority shareholder and a DoF inserted to a club structure for the first time in its history.

Spurned by the failed pursuits of key targets in Moonheads first summer - not helped by him going on holiday before taking the job - agreeing the deal for Walsh we were light on incoming players. The FA Cup defeat by Leicester in the January amongst a dismal run saw public criticism of the new regime, so we jumped in on Schneiderlin & Lookman. A late run of form saw us reach Europe & the catastrophe of our summer spending.

Money no object? Get in.....will we lose Rom though Ronald? Not sure, it’s ok, it’s football and we’ll share the goals around. So like a poor mans Spurs we bought every available AM in Europe who was offered. Klaassen despite his no show against United, Henry O because he scored plenty against the bottom half of equivalent of the Business House League, Sandro some kid who backed himself to get mega wages by having a nothing buy out clause, a centre back who couldn’t make the grade at United and turns like the 341. We got a goalie....good job too. Left back, nah. New centre fireworks? Nah. And we wonder why we are worse than in Martinez’s final season.

We ain’t a team that pulls together, we are a group of millionaires of different nationalities who have taken the dough offered to them. For the few first team players who can remember when we were good on a few occasions, they look at the new shiny lads on treble their wage and think it shouldn’t be like this. I agree.

We should just give the TV money to the fans and loan in crap players from Argentina.

We need players that are passionate about playing football (ideally for Everton). We currently have a squad of very highly paid players who seem to want to be anywhere but on the pitch. Whatever you want to say about that rat Suarez, he ran down every ball, covered every blade of grass, was in the face of every defender, referee and opposition manager even when he wanted out of big stand FC. We need some of that attitude and we stopped doing our due diligence when we got a few quid in the bank. We need to get back to assessing character as well as talent and to stop just chucking good money after bad.

We are not even rich though are we? Their are 12th other billionaires who are richer moshiri in the premier league alone.

His wealth is similar to liverpools owner (john Henry) and that guy is just one of many investors in FSG.

People are thinking we are owned by the next ambromivch or man citys owners.

In reality we are owned by a billionaires accountant

No we no were not owned by city or Chelsea’s owners as we woudnt have Sam allardayce.
