We had a mix of talented players who wanted to be here and limited players who worked hard to make up the gap. Now we have players that you can’t ascertain the talent they have because the only reason they are here is to pick up a pay cheque.

Shockingly bad recruitment is all it boils down to. We could have done the same with the pittances Moyes was given, thankfully he did his homework on most of those players and they at least wanted to fight for a place in the side.
