Oh how I love this one pic the most. Any pic of that era just warms me in so many ways...

That pic of Howard with Bally (in the Arsenal kit) is awesome.

Sorry to bump but I'm sat up thinking that it was deffo him singing to this and it's brilliant. Anyone know what I'm on about? It might not even be him but I'm sure it was.

It's a song wrote by blues on the run up to the fa cup final under moyes and whoever made it first did the song in a pub and I'm 90% sure Kendall was there singing along. It was ace.
That is an ace song but I don't think Howard had anything to do with it. It is a pop song originally called Matchstalk men and Matchstalk cats and dogs about a painter called LS Lowrie from Manchester. Pop song came out late 1977s. Celtic had a supporters version of it just before us with McStay rhyming with the Glasgow Celtic way or words to that effect somewhere in it. This Everton version is great though.

Rip Howard.

The news yesterday brought a lump in my throat.

What a man.

Graceful player, but as a manager he gave me my greatest days and is rightly considered the best manager in this clubs history. I've often said on here how lucky I feel to have been a youth during that season in 85. It won't be bettered by the club I don't think. That was the pinnacle season and I'm so glad I witnessed it.

Thanks for the memories, Howard. rest in peace.
