Current Affairs How do we tackle terrorism?

No it doesn't scare me personally. Scares the kids though. If you or me walked around all day in a bally what do ya think would happen? Not only that but its a clear form of abuse on women by the CULT of men who force them to wear it. You either integrate or you don't. Simple as that. But sure there's not criticism of THE CULT allowed cause that's racist. Nonsense

If its explained to children, they should'nt be scared.

I know quite a few muslims and its the womans choice if they want to wear a veil or not. I know thats not the case with the likes of the Taliban or ISIS though.

Whats " The cult "

Not even the same though is it? Wars vs nations and 'wars' versus ideology aren't apples to apples.

Nazism wasn't a nation. That ideology fueled the war and was the reason no negotiation was plausible, due to the concept of lebensraum.

The Japanese in World War 2 were driven by militarism from the elites - assassinations of moderates had led to a hard line concept of Japanese might and a need for conflict. Again, ideology.

Italy was fascism, and so on.

Wars have frequently been fought to dismantle aggressive ideologies.

The Islamic State cannot exist without its' caliphate, by definition.

One way to un-cast the Islamic State’s spell over its adherents would be to overpower it militarily and occupy the parts of Syria and Iraq now under caliphate rule. Al‑Qaeda is ineradicable because it can survive, cockroach-like, by going underground. The Islamic State cannot. If it loses its grip on its territory in Syria and Iraq, it will cease to be a caliphate. Caliphates cannot exist as underground movements, because territorial authority is a requirement: take away its command of territory, and all those oaths of allegiance are no longer binding. Former pledges could of course continue to attack the West and behead their enemies, as freelancers. But the propaganda value of the caliphate would disappear, and with it the supposed religious duty to immigrate and serve it.

This was written two years ago, when the above was cited as an unlikely option - things have evolved since then. This is what I mean by taking out their port of call by smashing their strongholds.

Makes no difference if your mate was killed either way?

You do one of two things with this lot. Accepting that stuff has happened for decades, that really, cannot be undone.

You either attempt to destroy them, futile, imo. Or you attempt to minimise their threat.

Neither are ideal, bit like I said earlier, its they who seek destroy us.

All religions are essentially Cults. Islam is the biggest most dangerous richest Cult of them all. They may say they're moderate but that's far from their teachings n their conduct n treatment of women , sub Cults(e.g. Sunnies versus Shias, Rich versus Poor). They want us all to either join them or die. Make no mistake.
As for the Veil thing. Choice? Utter nonsense. Why wear one? Cause men in their family make them. I feel so sorry for those women. It's like the 1950's in Ireland when you were outcast from society for having a baby outside wedlock.

Britain could disband it's army, abolish trident, decommission every weapon and piece of equipment they have, apologise for every life it has ended in the last 500 years, and Islamic State would still seek your create the caliphate and commit atrocities.

Another logical fallacy

If they can't exist underground how have they popped up in something like 18 nations?

... because they still control territory mate, and that's the basis of their ideology and propaganda. That's why you have people "joining ISIS" - they're moving to physical bases to fight. Because of the idea of a caliphate.

You seriously think they'd just go away?

That would be the last we hear of them?

I'm not sure you're grasping what a logical fallacy is mate.

You're talking about a hypothetical scenario which is very unlikely to happen. It's a pointless discussion.
