We don't buy players in order of priority, we buy them as they become available.

A player from the championship who will probably be back from his hols soon will be signed (by whoever) much sooner than a player at the world cup for example. I know the top clubs can buy world cup players sooner but we will have to wait whilst they assess their options after the tournament. That's the reality we are in at the moment.

I would like to think our top targets are at the world cup.

We might be trying to sign Hackney but that doesn't mean he's our PRIMARY target. We might be trying to sign Charles as well. I'd certainly not complain about signing two young stand out championship CMs.

We may also be looking at FULL BACKS AND STRIKERS. I'd be amazed if we didn't get two new FULL BACKS this summer.

When we start looking at FULL BACKS you can move on to moaning about them too like you do with every signing (CONSISTENCY).

Will say it again. I really like Hackney. He's got the potential to be some player. But he will not work in Moyes' rigid 4-5-1 with two sitters.
