2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

As I said in another post
He stumbled accross a winning formula at Villa yet straight away changes it.

For all the plaudits he gets he just keeps repeatedly doing this.
Why change a winning side even if theres other players becoming available.
Put them on the bench and let them work their way back in and give a bit of credit to the lads that took 3 pts from Villa park.
I do understand what you mean but the fact is the home problems haven’t just popped up tonight, this is an ongoing issue when we’re trying to play a different way. Away games where we get men behind the ball, spoil, keep our shape and look to nick something we look ok. Home games where there’s an onus to attack and be braver on the ball we struggle. I don’t think it’s as simple as just saying we should have kept the same team because it’s a totally different set up.

Gueye was one of our better players Mac

Not sure about that mate. Got an assist and nearly hit scored a winner so I'd say that was a great 3 minute spell. Apart from that was in no man's land time after time, struggled with the pace of the game and somehow managed to knock 2 simple 10 yard passes out of play for no reason. I thought he was really, really poor and shouldn't have been an automatic starter last night.

He was another one trotting back when they scored.

KDH and Gana both back, Garner as well. Iroegbunam, Charly and Rohl are all more ready for the prem. He's not gonna start a whole heap of games.

He'd be better severed playing every week with Preston.
KDH back from a month and a half injury, Gana abysmal and 37 years old, Garner in need of a rest - one injury and we're back to no options and recalling him.

Also honestly how about we bin Gana and use Armstrong so he plays here, at a higher level? A 37 year old should NEVER be a your first option.

I agree with this , feels easy to let the assist shape our view of his performance .

Out of position a lot and probably related to the fact he looked tired
