I think it would be for the best Joey. Playing centre mid in the premier league is a huge ask for an 18 year old. Ideally he would go on loan to a team that play through midfield but maybe he can do that next year.

I don't see a problem with Moyes trying him as a 10, it's a natural part of a young players development to play them in different positions to see where they look best. And I don't think we can even judge him as a 10 after that first half, the team wasn't playing cohesively so how is he expected to excel?

We have plenty of options in midfield. Let him learn his craft in the lower league and come back ready to start. Massive ask for an 18 year old to get serious minutes in centre midfield in the premier league. Even Lewis Miley doesn’t and he’s far more talented.

Don't think he was worse than anyone else first half. He's obviously not a 10 though.
On Moyes that tonight. Appalling set up, negated anything Armstrong could or would do, Mcneil didn't have a clue drifting inside into the space Armstrong was supposed to occupy, Patterson left isolated because it, Gueye dreadful and way off the pace. The whole dynamic of everything that went wrong was so Moyes could bring in Gueye and that changed everything.

For all the plaudits he gets he just keeps repeatedly doing this.
Why change a winning side even if theres other players becoming available.
Put them on the bench and let them work their way back in and give a bit of credit to the lads that took 3 pts from Villa park.

For me he looked a little lost. Then again, they all did first half. Could’ve easily stayed on but I get why he didn’t.
Yeah can understand thought the same about all the midfield apart from ndiaye who looked levels above them all.
