2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

You do need a break though mate, clear your head and forget that place..

There is more chat in here than their own forum..

The problem is, he then went to Jersey to forget Preston and we all know what happened there.

I believe Shane Meadows is making a film about Joey`s life, it`s called " This is Joey " and is a cross between Dead Mans Shoes and Train Spotting.

….we have a CM axis of 3, with these showing they’re very capable in those positions;
KDH
Garner
Gueye
Iroegbunam
Rohl
Armstrong

You could also factor in Alcaraz and McNeil as possibilities but difficult to see either gate crashing the party.

That’s quite a lot of options and it’s an area we look particularly strong. When fit, Garner and KDH look a shoo-in so in reality we have 4 (Gueye, Iroegbunam, Rohl and Armstrong) vying for one position.

Heckingbottom says ‘David and his coaches know what they have with Armstrong’, but I wonder if he’s actually surprised them with his level. Saying that, looking at all the options we have then it might not be the biggest surprise if Armstrong goes back even though I prefer him to stay.
That 6, if fit, gives us loads of options to make changes to games with effective subs - imagine bringing on fresh legs regularly to push for a winner rather than flogging what isn’t working

Agreed
I think he's better off going back myself
*ducks Joey's shoe* and comes back after a very positive year to the first team again

Presumably Gana is one less next year though he seems kind of ageless
