2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I'm not conflicted at all.

Harrison is , for me in the top 3 of those central midfielders and more importantly gives great balance to Garner and KDH who I guess most would agree are automatic names on the team sheet when fit.

However if someone ( yes you David ) thinks that Gana should be playing ahead of Harrison then coming on for a tiring Gana is a wonderful option.

I'm sorry but if you think that Tim or Merlin ( who are both starting to show promise and have different attributes) are ahead of Harrison then I suggest you give your head a wobble.

As for Charly , sorry but it's adios I fear.

Only a fool send Harrison back to PNE after his recent displays

If hes in the top 3/4 pecking order i posted above mate then hes a keep for sure.

If not then hes a loan back in my opinion.

The question isnt is he good enough for me, its will he get the game time.

I suspect with all available above - hes not going to game time in reality - that's just my take.

I need to apologize.

Whilst I was replying to your post I didn't mean you when I said if you think he isn't ahead of Tim etc.

I meant it in general terms to the fan base.

As you've probably guessed, I think the kid is going to be something special.

Not at all mate, didnt even notice, i know your sound way and its value on here! ;)

Me too, i wouldn't be disappointed at all if he stayed - i really think hes a PL player now, i just dont see us using him much if all that i posted above are fit. I kind of want him to stay and play - but i dont think he will play if he stays if that makes any sense!

For someone who's literally just turned 19 he's really not doing badly at all for game time. I haven't checked it out but instinctively I'd guess he's had more senior minutes in his career than Dibling, who's almost a full year older. On that basis I just don't really see a major need for him to go out and play a dozen or so more games. It's not ideal if he's literally never going to step on the pitch for us for the rest of the season obviously, but that doesn't seem hugely likely. I just don't envisage this decision having a huge bearing on how he develops as a player either way, he's been tested against senior pros now and we know he can do it, I'm not sure whether he's done it 40 times or 50 times is going to be the deciding factor in how ready he is to step up another level next season.

Alan Myers has now backtracked that we may sign no one in the January window & our bench ATM is very poor .....

Joseph, I feel you need a break and some mind relaxation, so i have decided to book you a place on a Pilgrimage...

You need to let it all out and come back at peace with the world ( and preston )
I did a hell of Horticultural Training outside Preston in my career - on the out skirts nr Garstang ... I know the place well - never went to live there though or follow a poor team .....
