Happy St Patriks Day

Oh I agree mate, political correctness has gone too far.

I have mates of different ethnicities and theyre embarassed by it too. Blackboard to chalkboard is a good example, daft.

But when it comes to St Georges Day, it just seems thats theres a little bit of envy to the celtic nations and its down to bone idleness of the Angles to celebrate St Georges Day.

I dont see how jealousy towards celtic nations could occur! England's tradition is superb so much so that many celtic nations may envy us slightly. The problem lies not through bone idleness, more trepidation of individuals worried about what they say. Long gone is this country a free one and the Government have allowed this decline. Too much of a majority in England are frightened to comment on this subject through fear of looking in any way discriminating towards others, me on the other hand am quite the opposite and make my feelings quite clear.

Thats why the celts dont like the English mate.

I hear you advise Big Ron on what's the right thing to say at the right time?

Funny thing is though mate, English people celebrate St Patrick's Day. In all honesty it's a slur on the Irish people and the belief that they "like a good time". It's stereotyping at it's most. But like many Irish will say, they do not complain.

Not me, i am not Irish. I have nothing against the Irish celebrating their day but feel its just another excuse to get pissed up by English folk. A few years back, we never had all this nonsense over St Patricks day.

How's it nonsense mate, its a sign of patriotism by the Irish.

Its sad when the celts have to show the English how to have a good time mate.

What the hell are you on about Ghost? Stick your head out the window once in a while, you may just see what is going on in the real world.

Honestly mate, if were ever going to meet up at GP for a few pints, you would need to loosen up a tad. Just a tad.

It is nonsense for English people to celebrate St Patricks Day. Understand me now chico??

I dont think it is, its a celebratory event and everyone can join in. More so in Liverpool with strong Irish ancestory.

Are you saying that Irish or Welsh people (like Ghost) should not be allowed to join in with St George's Day celebrations?

I am stunned at times by you Ghost, me loosen up? You have been in more heated discussions than everyone on here besides HB and now he is no longer here, you may take over his mantle. I honestly respect you mate but you do over react at times with replies that just dont make sense.

See, now can you see what i mean? I am getting caught in the web here, the next thing to follow will be accusations of me being racist. Why celebrate an event in Ireland, Wales and Scotland if we cant even celebrate our own day in peace. We are just going around in circles here.

Are you in the BNP mate?
