After his passport got posted all over the internet a few seasons back there's probably been loads of ID fraud on him, with our rich transfer history I suspect we'll end up signing one of those and not the real Carvalho.

I normally agree with re age but number 6 is a position where experience pays. If I recall Carsley performed well into his mid thirties and Barry too. You do need a balance though so given we have already signed Tarks and are now heavily linked with Barkley it is a bit concerning that we are not recruiting young hungry players on the up.
