Yes which may explain why we may end up getting 2/3 in the door with structured payments.

See where we are at after the window. Due to our fisncial limitation we have to play the transfer game late to maximise the value of deals.

It can't be mate, for one you can't include a sale on accounts to the league that hasn't happened yet, it's a conditional still and not one chance in hell it's allowed.

Same works with loan obligations too.

Bobble explained it two nights ago? Conditions have been met it seems as it was spoke with certainty that they have to pay up on June 30th 2023. Said the contract was 'water tight' and that the money was guaranteed on that date if no agreement reached. There's no incentive for Everton to agree a deal now and write off a loan fee.

If you dont trust the bobble's info then fair enough.

Where did you find out that they are accounting for something that hasnt happened yet? Any source at all for such a claim? Considering it flies in the face of all accounting and makes little sense Im assuming there must be a great source for it that I just havent seen.

See my last post in the thread regarding the source.

It goes within the year period. So Everton know they're getting whatever the agreed fee is (reportedly £28m and that was the figure used by Bobble as well). So they know when they have to submit July 1 22 to June 30 22 they will have that money in there.

I wont pretend to know anything about accounting, im just going off what a realiable source has said. No real difference for us to get the money now or on June 30th.

This might have legs if, as has been reported, Betis need to sell. If we can get them down to 20m euros upfront then that would be great business.

Nah I think the bobbs a genuine bloke mate not a bs'er like some :)

Just saying that legally it couldn't be actually included yet - it can be planned for or used as a show to the league etc, but I til it's paid it can't be in the books (just down to legality - the guy could in theory die or do a siggy etc in which case it'd be voided)

Bobble an accountant now is he?

Even if they conditions have been met and they accounted for it now they would have to accrue the majority of it as it's not actually receivable until June, so it would have little to no impact on the profit & loss.
