Transfer Rumour Guido Rodriguez

William Carvalho now being linked to a Premier League move (again) ... I massively doubt Betis are gonna be selling two key centre mids in the same window.

An already unlikely move becomes even more unlikely if Carvalho does go.
Aren’t betis financially in the poo so to speak

There’s nothing to suggest it, other than a few Twitter rumours.

There was a scenario we’re Betis did not pay up towards the end of last year, and Betis eventually paid that.

Nothing in that, unless something new came to light very recently, but not seen that.

That’s your article.

It feels totally paraphrased to be honest. (From Everton Twitter links).

There’s a sentence in there which translates roughly to.

“earlier in the window, he had great interest from Atlético Madrid, but there was not an offer. Betis have set a price, which no one has been willing to meet, they won’t sell for cheap”.

So unless we’re finding a pot of FFP Gold, we’re not getting him.

Even their own players know it, Bellerin is available for less than 10m and they cant afford it:

"I’m thinking of doing the crowdfunding we said we would do to get him back. I come out of training, and people ask me if Hector is coming, and they tell me that they are starting a piggy bank here to raise money."

We’ll considering they’ve signed someone for €13m and sold no one, maybe they just have a modest budget?

So is keans money already accounted for ? Even grimmer than what I thought if that’s true
Yes which may explain why we may end up getting 2/3 in the door with structured payments.

See where we are at after the window. Due to our fisncial limitation we have to play the transfer game late to maximise the value of deals.

PSG buying Kean this year might give us the flexibility to do it, but not seeing that. Maybe if we can move Gomes?
I'm confused. Shouldn't PSG buying Kean or not be Juventus' problem? They are sniffing around the likes of Morata and Firmino at the moment while we are bargain basement hunting
Wasn't it two year loan then buy?
Edit* Sorry I lost a year somewhere in pandemic land I think lol

Kean is in this seasons accounts wether we get the money now or on June 30th next year. So it makes no real difference.
Where did you find out that they are accounting for something that hasnt happened yet? Any source at all for such a claim? Considering it flies in the face of all accounting and makes little sense Im assuming there must be a great source for it that I just havent seen.

The Premier league rules work on a 3 year rolling cycle. If the money for Kean is agreed to be coming in and we can demonstrate that it can be used towards the cycle we're in now as its scheduled 30th June 2023, its this FY.
