Just been in the gym for an hour, can't feel my arms.

I can't help but feel I look funny next to all these bodybuilders. I'm there struggling on a low weight, whilst they're benching my weight FFS.
 
Did my first proper organised mountain bike meet on saturday. 26 miles around the New Forest with these people:

There are no placings but you get a medal based on your finishing time. I finished in 2 hours 34 minutes which meant a silver. There was LOTS of rain before the day so there was quite a bit of flooding and the trails were quite sticky in places so I was quite pleased with that for my first go. The flooding made it more fun though imo, definitely going to get some waterproof socks for next time though!

I was impressed with the organisation of the whole thing, the signs could be a bit ambiguous and I got a bit lost a couple of times but that's partly my own fault for not printing off the map they emailed me! I'll definitely be doing more.
 
Just got myself back to "fighting weight" of 79kg having gone to 87kg when I broke my foot in March - given I've just broken my toe again and will be inactive for a few weeks I'll likely put a few kgs back on
 
I'm just back from a couple of weeks in the states, and Ive put on 8 lbs in 2 weeks. I ate like a complete monster while I was over there, and drank shed loads of ale.

Back in training tomorrow for me - loadsa running, no beer, and no more frozen custard!
