Sad if Geri goes, not because he's a world beater, but because he hasn't realised his full potential with us, as with Barca. Read a good point elsewhere that if it had been Geri making the Davies run on Sunday it wouldn't have resulted in a goal because Geri wouldn't have got up off the floor after colliding with Stones, I think that sort of sums him up, must be very frustrating to manage.

I would also point out that if he is such a brilliant talent who just needs to put it all together, why have so many well respected managers and clubs benched or binned him?

The only club interested in him in the Premier League is Middlesbrough. Not a sniff from the 6 above who we are aiming to emulate in the coming seasons.

No he'd be binned off quicker than andros townsend because he isnt willing or able to put the effort in to play in that system, Lennon actually can though.

Also Lennons no where near as bad as people are saying, like not even close. He's a decent squad option who does a good job whenever he is called on. Not a world beater but a player who can follow instructions and will work hard to make sure the TEAM do better.

People are also forgetting the two half seasons, where he got into the team and actually performed really well, and was a big reason to why we didnt slump even further down the table.

Lennon may be the less popular option, but perhaps better suits the side currently, for the near future at least.

Like it that he has the ability to get you out of your seat when he plays. Love that in a player. But he doesn't do it often enough and his stamina (lack of) is a mystery too. Not consistent enough to demand a regular place and is obviously not happy sitting in the bench. Will be sad to see him go but it's the right decision, and of we can get £15m for him we've made a good turn too.

Both. 10 years ago the equivalent would have been taking Gary Naysmith on loan to play with Maldini and Kaka.
