I'm joking (kind of). I think most conservatives want the police to get more aggressive with rioters, but I'm not sure how they feel about military involvement. I support the use of the national guard in the manner they've been used so far around here (not aware of any actual issues involving the guard).

Most importantly, I don't want those arrested to be immediately released to flee the region and never be heard from again.
More aggressive than tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets?

If your only option is escalating further beyond that, maybe it's time to change tact

2. Antifa (in the US) is a group of disaffected losers who seek to physically harm people, damage property and stifle free speech through violence. True/False/Other?

This may be a lot, so please bear with me. Thought can be difficult but your friends here at GOT are dedicated to helping you practice it.

Antifa is a group — probably so, although it’s organization seems to empower individuals to act more than act as a group in the traditional sense

Of disaffected losers — it’s not clear that they’re socially equal to incels/QAnon types/infowars listeners, but that’s possible. I won’t debate this although it seems a talking point for the Fox News watchers. For that I’m thankful they’ve finally moved on from “Benghazi” and “but her emails!”

Who seek to harm people — this is not obvious but they do love their anarchy, as we’ll see below. Whatever their goals, they seem very much like the “proud boys” and nothing like the Ku Klux Klan, insofar as they aim to harm persons.

Damage property — as anarchists, yes they live to damage property, which is most Republicans’ first love. Now I see why the Fox News types hate them so much.

And stifle free speech through violence — this is a spurious if not interesting claim. It’s not clear they are intent on stifling free speech at all. And if they are intent on doing so then to use violence to suppress the right to assemble and speak—well that’s clearly a paramilitary tactic and there’s no evidence they are a paramilitary organization. But now I can see why POTUS hates them so, they seem to use his preferred methods, if what you claim is true.

They got paid off after the occupy wall street protests, and now fight the working class on behalf of the left.

I stand to be corrected but every city, and most states that have major looting are solid Democrat locations. They are responsible for the policing of said places.
No they are not.

20 states have activated the national guard because of major looting.

Most of those that have are red states.

The three swing states are on the list and Texas if that's now considered a swing state.

Sure there are blue states too but they are not the majority.

Did you just see California and New York and decide it was all blue states?

Can you even name blue controlled states?

Yes, you do stand to be corrected - which is most often going to be the case when one tosses out absolutes as you have done here.

San Diego, Jacksonville, Ft. Worth, Oklahoma City... and many, many more. All Republican mayors. All cities with property damage and police retaliation against protestors.

This isn't an issue for the left-right continuum nonsense.

Fair one. How many Red cities have had thier police stood down?

Just caught up on news - we don't usually have much good to say about that lot across the park, but full marks for the picture at the center circle today.
