Horrible. He's done exactly the same thing as Chauvin. No need to keep the knee on the neck like that.
The Roma are the minority that no one really seems to give a [Poor language removed] about though so I doubt there will be any protests.
Sadly not. There is so much crap going on in the World that unfortunately the Roma don’t rank that high on the list. I’m not saying they shouldn’t by the way, just that’s the way it is. I’d have no idea of this case if you hadn’t highlighted it

It’s very simple. It was not done by white people. If it’s done by black people it’s ignored. Most stabbings in London are done by black people, but we are not allowed to say so. Most murders in Chicago are committed by black people but again no one is allowed to say so. BLM is a nonsense, of course Black Lives Matter, as do white lives, but instead of concentrating on the perpetrators of the stabbings and murders we look at the colour of the victims……

Crumbs Pete, that's a wrong take on things. The protests around George Floyd's murder were not just because it was a white police officer but because it was a police officer. Of course, it's bad when civilians kill each other, but surely you can see that it's far more disturbing when those designed to protect us are the ones doing the killing?

You’re really, really wrong and your own prejudices show through. BLM is actively involved in black communities to affect change. External forces have a massive bearing on this though.

My comments were more towards the poor lad who was killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We currently are ignoring what is really going on in the world because it is deemed ‘racist’. We may just as well say that it’s done by men, so it’s sexist, or that it’s done by under 30’s so it’s ageist…real people are dying, and the only thing that we should be doing is finding and putting away whoever is doing it. I don’t care if it’s black, white, yellow or any variation, I want them caught and punished.….

BLM is about white upon black. The home office deportations were getting rid of criminals. I see no colour in this. Criminals of whatever colour, black, white or whatever nationality, or of profession, police etc, is irrelevant. Criminals need to be punished or locked away from the public. Foreign criminals should be thrown out of the country….
BLM isn't restricted to "white upon black".
Minimizing their cause in such a fashion seems to indicate your claim to not see color or frame issues by race/color - inaccurate.

‘Foreign’ criminals who spent most of their life in the U.K. included?
You see no colour because you don’t want to. Colour is an important part of who is being deported, who is being killed, who is being stop and searched. To try and categorise those who are actively trying to improve communities and areas as the ones obsessed with race is your failing.
The use of’what about knife crime’ and ‘what about black on black murder’ is a racist trope used to invalidate legitimate concerns about state oppression, violence, and institutional racism whilst those who mention it have no desire to see any change or progress made lest they can’t keep using the same strawmen to shut down arguments.
