I will also be incredibly disappointed in you.
You're a great poster, just stick him on ignore and move on.
Also there's no moderation here so nothing Rafuh can do.

I personally would allow abortion in such circumstances. My own view on abortions is to tighten up some of the abuses but ultimately for them to be legal. This is the case in many, if not most, states. My issue with the article is I'm not sure I believe it as written and that there are still numerous forms of help for females in such circumstances. Sure, some of the help is kinda with a nod and wink but it's still valuable help nonetheless. I think around 98% of females in the US can still obtain an abortion if they so choose. Sure, they may have to be a bit quiet about it afterwards if they return home but they can still have it performed.so why have that "minor inconvenience". Why not do everything possible to reduce the trauma?
As others have said, stick me on ignore. If the conversation is upsetting to you Im happy enough to desist on the subject. Then I will have to take a walk.

I just can't. I appreciate the sentiment, but if we're living in a world where rape is not absolutely out of bounds, I just can't do it.ah come on Martin.

At various points in my life, I have been forced to say that the rules can go hang, because my beliefs and who I am are more important. It's the rules of the forum. CA isn't moderated.
Folks are allowed to have crap opinions and spout nonsense (tbf - happens all the time in Everton forum as well and we don't moderate that either) .
I can still have my say as non-mod me.
See my above post. Thanks.just re read your own posts man.
You're justifying cruelty.
This is why I wanted a discussion regarding the rules,
I have a very hard time saying that minimizing the consequences is not condoning rape. If you want the backstory, I'll tell you via PMs.Where has anyone said that?
dylsexicbleu has a seriously bad take on the situation, but I didn't interpret anything he said as condoning rape
He is certainly belittling rape and victim shaming. In my view victim shaming is a form of condoning of the culprit.Where has anyone said that?

I’m sorry Martin, many lives like yours have been hugely impacted by sexual assault (both the victims themselves and their families/friends) and it still amazes me how many can be so insensitive/ignorant/vile when discussing the topic.I will no longer beat around the bush.
If you minimized the consequences of rape in my physical presence, you would be fortunate indeed if I did not end you on the spot.
In many ways, my life has been defined by it.
