Same fella again?

There really should be some sort of cut-off age or at least a yearly cognition test for people in positions of power when they reach a certain age.
Think age is the way to go, or term limits. You see with Trump and the self reporting of height and weight or when he was in the White House and the doctor allowed him to dictate the doctor's report, that you can't trust the tests to be done properly as people with power aren't treated like normal folk

Wait…so you’re saying the “person, woman, man, camera, tv” test might not be cutting it?

Age is - reach 70 and you should be automatically barred from reelection.

Meanwhile, I imagine he would also be furious if someone dared stay seated during the singing of the poem, written amidst a battle, on a ship, that we use for our national anthem.

He’d have kicked Patton out for sure

What is it with these imbeciles that they think being erudite, literate or doing any self reflection is a weakness?

This was the same Alexander who had been tutored by Aristotle. The young man had never learned to pursue Aristotle’s golden mean. He did everything to the extreme. But his studies with Aristotle did affect him in at least one important way. Under Aristotle’s tutelage he had studied Homer’s epic poem The Iliad, with its great warrior-hero Achilles. Alexander carried a copy of The Iliad with him for the rest of his life, and the poem seems to have inspired him to become a great warrior-hero in his own right.

He’s probably call Marcus Aurelius ”woke”

My dad (retired military) and I had a "discussion" along these lines when General Milley was talking about books he had read (which as I was told were "woke") and would recommend for enlisted and officers. The discussion didn't go well as you can imagine.
