*claps at Kansas* for overwhelmingly rejecting stricter abortion laws and keeping it legal.
Worth pointing out that the Democrats have a sizable advantage on electoral experience in November in addition to this wedge issue:

The Democrats look very doomed in the House, but if we're being honest the Senate is what matters right now in the event that a Supreme Court justice resigns or kicks the bucket. That's unlikely - it's a young Court primarily because none of them were nominated at an age above 55. A couple of generations ago, it was fairly evenly split between members appointed young (William O. Douglas took his seat at age 40) and members who were +/- age 60 at appointment.

I didn’t realize until I saw them all lined up in that article just how terrible some of the Senate candidates that the Republicans are running out this fall actually are. Herschel Walker might not even be on a “person, woman, man, camera, tv” level of sentience.

Imagine for a moment that your sibling dies, leaving behind a young child with no-one left to look after them. You and your partner take them in to your home, start to raise them and then a school run by people who profess a religion founded on sacrificing oneself for the good of others.

They then kick the kid out of that school because you and your partner are of the same gender

Utterly deplorable

Quite the journey from a 2020 democratic presidential candidate to temp Tucker Carlson host.

I don't even have the words. I mean, I do, the word is 'whore' but that usage is going to set @RAFUH off.

I'll defend the usage. It's the intellectual variety, and it is unambiguously the word. We have the genderless 'sellout', but it describes a lesser variety of intellectual treason. The corresponding word for a male is on Carlin's list, and is auto-censored here. If RAFUH wants to argue that there's gender bias in that fact, I'll concede that point.
