This is the counterargument to the "it'll be better if we elect women" argument. We're still electing the same hypocrites. All we accomplished was to swap out the naughty bits.
If there's any hope, it's that technologies like Twitter make it easier to tell these sorts of stories about these people, with evidence. Of course, the politicians just get smarter, and learn to clam up in a cab or Uber in reply.

Liz Truss got quite the makeover (or is it the other way around).
Lovely position, which boils down to, "If people in Venezuela had assault weapons, they would have killed Chavez." The domestic implications are obvious enough. She's also oblivious to the fact that most Americans can't afford dog groomers and luxury dog treats, and the claim that what American prosperity exists results from firearms doesn't stand up to the most basic empirical scrutiny.
One wonders why people in rural Colorado vote for this woman.

It’s not squeaky bum time. China will always shout their mouths off, put tanks 120+kilometres from Taiwan, send out their ships and airplanes, but always in the knowledge that Taiwan is not Ukraine where you can just drive over the border. Pelosi, who I dislike intensely, has actually done the right thing for once and given the USA some backbone…
I'm not so concerned about China invading Taiwan, more the strong lines being drawn in the sand.
This will only push Xi closer to Putin.
I'm not saying we should capitulate to Chinas threats but I just wonder if the timing was appropriate.
