Having just finished college myself I could pretty much tell he was lying about a lot of his drinking related stuff. For someone who drank starting at age 16 and was in a fraternity to have somehow not blacked out even a little bit in that time is not likely. The stuff about having a week stomach is crap too and no way I'm buying that every single phrase he wrote at 18 in his yearbook had a benign explanation behind it. Does this mean he committed sexual assault? Obviously no but there were certainly lies in that testimony.

Now his classmates are coming out and saying he was hammered all the time. Well I'm not surprised.

Which is... or rather SHOULD BE... disqualifying whether he assaulted these women or not.

I will attempt to simplify my thoughts and offer a brief opinion on the Kavenaugh hearing. This is so complicated and layered that you have to strip away the emotional politics and concentrate on a few simple truisms in order to come to any logical conclusion. Things we know are that both testimonies seemed credible. It's undeniable that Ford has been used as a political pawn in order to stop another crucial Republican becoming a supreme Court Judge. The stakes are high here therefore any kind of reasonable ethics are sadly abandoned by both parties. Ford's female friend has stated she has no recollection of the gathering and neither do the others that were stated as being present. For this reason alone I don't see how you can pursue this any further without additional creditable evidence.

I still can't get over the partisan opening statement from Kavanaugh's testimony. That alone should disqualify him. Wouldn't you agree @mezzrow? Invoking a left wing conspiracy and revenge from the Clinton's was red meat for the far right, and in no way should be used by a SCOTUS member.
