Thanks for clarifying and giving more insight into this pic and into the town of Texarkana!Generally speaking this is true. Texas still has this frontier mythos about it (especially its politics) which can serve us well in terms of overall economic growth but far too often screws the people of the state.
Specifically, this image is deceiving. Texarkana, TX is not part of ERCOT (the grid system that has failed TX). It is on the Eastern grid, same as Texarkana, AR. What seems likely here is the Arkansas side salted/sanded their side of the street while the Texas side did not. That's typically a city service. The electric and water problems here are a state issue.
(As an aside, my father was born in Texarkana during WW2 but on the Arkansas side as that's where the military hospital was located. It's a source of embarrassment.)
I really wish Davis was my Congressman instead of the disgraceful Madison Cawthorn.
Yes and each of them is a repulsive human being. How can the US have so many of them in charged of the country. Doesn't speak well of the people selecting them to office. Each of these represents a distinct wing of the GOP
Each quote could be attributed to each wing. That's why they are being selected to officeYes and each of them is a repulsive human being. How can the US have so many of them in charged of the country. Doesn't speak well of the people selecting them to office.
I repeat. Bellend.
LOL
You got caught, Ted. OWN IT

It's an insane lie. Why his wife would need help taking his 10 and 12 years old kids on holiday for him to just fly back. Also is he so dense that he doesn't think people will check whether his return was already sorted for an instant return. Republicans are so bad at being 2hats but yet again nothing will come of this.Yeah...I very much doubt he flew to Mexico to drop someone off. Good try though Ted.
