It is very unfortunate that there is not a effort about teaching civic classes in all schools across the US. But I guess it's beneficial to some politicians keeping people ignorant about the constitution and how this democratic system works.

Unfortunately I suspect many politicians don’t have the slightest clue about constitutional law or how the system was designed either. Schools here don’t teach a lot of things they should. I’d start with financial literacy courses. Learning the value of saving and investing is clearly lost on most when you consider how many don’t have any savings whatsoever.

I'm sure there a lot of politicians that are.more ignorant than many voters when.it comes to constitutional law. It is crazy that a person has to take this big civic exam to become a US citizen and some politicians can become our representatives without having no clue of such knowledge. I agree financial literacy is a course that should be mandatory in high school. I was listening to a report on NPR the other day about how much better financially college students would be if from.the very beginning of their college career they knew how to do a budget to keep better track of their expenses. We need to teach people from early on the importance of good financial management and saving.
Those Texas energy bills though...

Absurd, that's why fluctuating wholesale prices don't work. I just read the story of an army veteran that had to use all his savings to pay for an electric bill, this is totally unacceptable and I hope Abbott really does something good for a change and fix this wrong.
