Thanks. I’m doing what little bit I can. My family isn’t getting together for Christmas and just generally trying to lay low and not make things worse. It’s just infuriating that this is dragging on so much longer than it has to because so many people around here aren’t willing to make even the most basic sacrifices.

Far be it for me to defend Osteen, but this is a touch misleading. Osteen’s “church”, not the man himself, is tax exempt and took over $4M in federal aid. That said, megachurches like his are very much for-profit enterprises, and shouldn’t be able to take advantage of that loop hole.
