you know, aside from the obvious lol there, as long as this country is OK with places like Fox News and Breitbart and their ilk just brainwashing the populace we just aren't going to survive intact. It appears the law was to help the consumer not help big corporations. From WaPo

In 1963, Hart used packaged cherry pies as an example of weak labeling laws, as he worked to build support for what would become the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act of 1967. He complained he had found eight-inch frozen pies with as few as 40 cherries, barely forming a one-cherry layer. This scant smattering of fruit cheated consumers, who would naturally expect a pie to have more. The consumer fraud was also shortchanging his state because at the time, Michigan produced 60 percent of the nation’s cherries.

You joke about adding stuff on your own, but it made me realize that the original Tweet is just dumb. It says Americans are now free to add as much sugar, fruit or crust as they like. How in the hell do you add any of that to a FROZEN pie?
