That happens in this country as well to be fair. Debts get sold to Debt Collection Agencies for tiny amounts. Has been various companies chasing debts that are statute barred and no longer legally enforceable.
People freak out when they’re told a DCA is recovering their debt as they think bailiffs will be knocking at the door

BRING EVERYONE. Solid strategy there. Let’s hold a massive COVID superspreader four days before Christmas, with a bunch of people who were already planning to defy medical guidance and have large indoor gatherings in an effort to win the War on Christmas.
