Nice to see people stereotyping anyone protesting before they even have. It's usually in the same breath as mentioning democracy.
There'll be plenty of families out on this and plenty of people who've never protested before. There'll also be people who go over the top. Some anger will be the result of seeing friends, family suffer. In that case think it's fair enough they express this in any way they can as long as they are not threatening others. Apart from IDS who is totally fair game.
Probably will be others who do like to cause trouble for the sake of it. A proportion of these will be police and other agent provocateurs. This is pretty well documented now but always ignored. Even so the percentage just out to cause trouble is alway tiny and sadly inevitable when you consider the numbers involved. If you want to see a group of adults where the majority behave abysmally then I'd recommend any Prime Ministers Question Time.

It did indeed, tyrants often replace tyrants. They started with the intention of building a society that would work for everyone though so I can't fault them for trying.
Give them some good ol' fashioned anarchy.

Any other protests, the small ones, with just a couple of million or a few hundred thousand, tend not to get mentioned on the telly or get a snippet in the print media, so the scale of those with problems isn't recognised.
A protest that has an affect on the workings of a society for a day will be seen as the scale it is, the level of disatisfaction and where once it was miners, steel workers, we're now seeing doctors, nurses etc, the so called 'professional classes'.
So, yeah, 'koff 21st century saying enough is enough, we'll let the disabled and the poor go down on their own, and we'll just wait our turn. Brilliant. Tactical genius.
