General strike/protest

Amidst all the hullabaloo over junior doctors, community health services in Southwark and Lambeth are being cut by ~ 20%. A fine example of what happens when health gets politicised. We live in an age where health budgets are tight, yet we continue to spend approximately 30-40% of our budget on the final months of a persons life, where it doesn't really do a great deal of good, rather than spending that money earlier on where it can help to prevent illness in the first place. I'm sure it's not because the folks looking after those final days are so politically untouchable though.
 
I see the KS1 Spelling and Grammar test has been cancelled after it was accidentally published online. Seriously, this government are such clueless buffoons that they'd have been slaughtered by the press if it were Labour.

The constant changing of the format of the tests and tinkering with the curriculum has been an utter fiasco.
