In A&E it almost certainly will be. If it's consultants on the front line, decision making in the more serious cases will be quicker. But you told me the level of care would be higher..........

maybe the doctors shouldn't strike but just be really surly and dress shabbily..
You're question is as ridiculous as your views on forced labour. You didn't answer the question......

So we should let them keep their very generous overtime pay which costs a fortune. A lot of doctors are now leaving Australia after finding out the grass is definitely not greener down under
If the strike was weeks long maybe, but they're not. Other medical professionals, including those with more expertise will still be working. Some might even have to come in on their day off.You are just digging a big hole here lad. If Doctors go on strike patients suffer. If they don't then we don't need Doctors......
It's not very generous at all. If you actually worked out what juniors get paid per hour, it's not really that much. Put the pay aside, the Tories say they want a 24 hour/7 day service because all these extra people have died at the weekend, a fact they have never been able to back up. They aren't going to employ anymore doctors. That means if you spread out the same resource over more days then common sense tells you there will be other times in the week when there won't be enough resource. Do you really think that they'd have so much support from the medical profession if what the Tories are saying is actually fair comment and it was for the good of the NHS and the general public?
Junior doctors are kind of apprentices who end up consultants, GPs etc that's when they get the excellent moneyIt's not very generous at all. Have you actually been seriously ill or needed emergency attention at a weekend...... Illness and medical conditions do not recognise our Mon-Fri working week........

The nature of their profession, they're not allowed to. So why are you even asking the question? You sign up knowing that. If you don't like the terms and conditions you find alternative employment. What you mean is you can't answer it...
So in a period of war, you would be happy for our armed forces to go on strike..........

Because they aren't qualified enough that's why and of course its about the money nowExactly. Which they're not getting now so is it really the money?
