Power corrupts...You know how it goes.

All sorts of underhand shady deals & shenanigans go on in the corridors of westminster, as I'm sure you're well aware - it just seems to me that the tories more than any other party are most unabashed about how they shaft people (Physically, financially and morally) and get away with it.

I guess it's to be expected when you see them go from wilfully ignoring election rules (Thanet South) to police saying what they've done constitutes fraud - but they won't press charges (Michael Green...errr... Seb Fox grant shapps) to more or less admitting to attempting to sexually assault young men in his home, but getting away with it by playing the oppressed homosexual card (Nigel Evans) to claiming 9p travel expenses for a car journey of a couple of hundred yards (Rob Wilson) to claiming almost £91k on second home mortgage expenses wrongfully, but only paying back (just short of) £6k (Maria Miller)

And so on. Oh, there's plenty of examples from ALL the parties, but the toerags tories get the least comebacks, I'd say.


Austerity for the likes of me & thee, socialism for them. :mad:

The Tories are not capable of running the country. The sooner people down South realise this the sooner we don't have to have these absolute clowns anywhere near power.

One day, you or a member of your family may well be critically ill or in need of urgent medical care. I hope that the Doctors are not on strike that day.........you of course would welcome the strike......

They are striking because the Tories lied about the reason for changing their terms and conditions. You obviously think it's fair for a government to do that to people, luckily the majority don't agree with it. With the media behind them they'll eventually turn any sympathy away from the doctors and in 5 years time there'll be an even bigger recruitment crisis in the NHS for medical staff. But that's OK because Gideon sells his cuts to the public that he's doing it for the next generation.....

They are striking because their overtime pay is being reduced

Listen to yourself. You're as bad as Jeremy Hunt. You'd hold a gun to their heads and make them work.

The fact that such a strike is likely to happen is absolutely evident that the guy in charge has got it all wrong. He's lost the confidence of his workers and rather than work with them, he's simply got his fingers in his ears.

Hunt and the Tories are more of a danger to citizens of this country than any striking doctors.

Keep telling yourself that mate, meanwhile real people with real medical problems will be left to their own devices.......forget the politics just for one minute, put away your obvious hate for a particular government, just imagine what it will be like for the patients........
 
Just saying it all comes down to reduction in overtime pay and to be honest most people don't get double time etc anymore.. It's all about the money, they should be honest about that.
