Gana Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin

Dave, Morgan has been really good, like REALLY good

Yeah, it's early days I understand that, but goodness me he's been good for the short spell he's been here!

Koeman bought him so like any other Koeman signing if he has a bad game he gets slated by Dave as average, waste of money (Williams, Bolasie), if he's playing really well, he claims we didn't need him anyway, waste of money, nothing remarkable.

Frankly the ease in which Schneiderlin, Gueye, Williams, and even Lookman have all adapted to the first team has been incredible. It really has been good recruitment from Koeman and Walsh.

Go onto any Man Utd forum and tell them Schneiderlin wasn't played out of position as a defensive midfielder in the time he was there and see what reaction you get. That is the overwhelming view of United supporters concerning that player. Its the overwhelming view of most media pundits too. And it's what I observed...which is why I agree with them. But you're telling me the opposite is the case.

At Southampton he was allowed to play box to box because Wanyama was the holding player; at United he was the one tasked with holding and Schweinsteiger (who he was paired most often with) was tasked with getting up the pitch.

This ^^^ is just basic knowledge that all football fans who watch the PL have about the player. But here you are intent on presenting some fiction about a player playing out on the wing and getting themselves in areas of the pitch where Mata or Herrera would be operating. I'm honestly embarrassed for you.

That view about what you observed really doesn't match what you said about having seem of him before we signed him though, does it Dave

Now an expert on every United fan message board and the opinion they have on every United players position i see, good to know mate, look up their thread on Di Maria for the 15/16 season when your there, and Gundogan for this one, both should be informative for you.

You agree with pundits, really, if i could be bothered i'd go back and vault you on your numerous slating of anyone using a pundit to support their arguments.

Was this Schweinsteiger for the 14/15 season he was paired the most with mate, the same Schweinsteiger who wasn't even at Man United that season, or we changing things around again to fit your argument?

Love your totally invented bit at the end though mate, sticking by your Depay played right wing for United post btw?

Don't even get annoyed by your posts anymore mate, that time has long lone gone, just feel sad for the state of them

As you directly talked abpout his record during LVG's first season mate then i highly doubt that was the managers set up, Depay wasn't even there that season, the season he actually was at United mate, he played once on the right wing btw and 37 times on the left wing - yet apparently he was part of L:VG setup playingon the right side - really, are you just trying to say stuff now and hope something sounds ok?

But i am impressed how he linked up with Di Maria when the two of them where never at the club at the same time - very very impressive

Also Schweinsteiger wasn't there in the first season LVG was in charge either mate - so another bit of a mistake in how they set up from you - even the season he was there though he played 18 out of 38 league games.

So which season are you actually trying to talk about Dave? the first season which you where quoting earlier and which we where talking about (that you apparently think Depay, Darmian and Schweinsteiger where playing for United) or the second season (when apparently you didn't realise that DiMaria had been sold and didnt play for them any longer)?

Fancy sticking Pogba into the LVG setup as well mate? or maybe you can stick Gundogan into it?

That was ruthless. Very well played Stevon.

@ianefc , you have to see this.

tbh mate, think he may become about the third person i stick on ignore in about 5/6 years on the forum, sad to do it like, but really cba, every thread is just becoming a joke now (and people responding - myself included are as much to blame)

Indeed.

Three months ago we would have been very down at the thoughts of our next three away games.

Now, I for one am positively relishing the thoughts of taking our newly found swagger into the lion's dens at The Pit and OT.

COYBB......
I wouldn't say I was exactly relishing them mate. What I am looking forward to, however, is seeing how our midfield performs against them. Also interested to see whether RK switches back to a back 3. In the Stamford Bridge hammering we were sadly missing both Gana and McCarthy and were ruthlessly exposed in midfield. I know the game was already over but I thought we retained the ball a lot better after Davies came on. I think the Tottenham game in particular will be very interesting as I expect both teams to press quite high.

The other thing is seeing how Robles performs. I think it's fair to say he should expect to be a lot busier than he has recently.

His sole purpose for posting is to wind people up. People keep feeding the troll, and he is an expert at trolling. People need to just ignore the posts and he will have to find another forum to engage in his pastime.

If opponents can escape Schneiderlin at that point and get forward in numbers we are in trouble with Gueye to beat and then they're bearing down on our back four.

So if, if, they get past Schneiderlin then they only have to get past one of the best tacklers/interceptors in the league, and then they actually get to our defence?? Damn, better take Rom off and put another DM on then!! :o

can you provide a link to the article or site you got those figures from Dave - and remember it is the 14/15 season - Schneiderlins first one at Man United we are talking about here.

Not doubting you, just that i have seen a very very different list of players - and one schneiderlin isnt where you suggest

Your list is seming very very strange indeed though, Capoue was one of the 7 highest players in commiting fouls in the 14/15 season - despite only playing 12 league games

And you have included in the top 7 Gueye - who was playing in France for the entire season

so Dave are you lying, getting confused, or just throwing anything out you can do and hope no one calls you on all your 'mistakes'?

he has taken that list off 2015/2016 season

2014/2015 season:
ashley barnes, pelle, wanyama, ulloa, barry, diouf, fellaini, fernandinho... morgan doesnt appear in the top 20

Wowsers! RIP Davek #PrayforDaveK

Capoue, Drinkwater, Fernandinho, Pietewrs, Yacob, Lamala, Gueye.

...and?

Premier league winner, one of their best players?

Idrissa Gana Gueye???
