Harsh on Ramsay given that the storyline couldn't let him win. He toyed with Jon Snow as only Ramsay could , made his movements at the right time , nearly pounded the life out of Jon and was in the process of squeezing the life out of the Freemen/Starks when the cavalry turned up.
The bit with Jon Snow struggling to get out from a mass of bodies reminded me of a Robin Williams film, can't remember name, where he was struggling to get out of purgatory by climbing over masses of bodies.
Great episode in my book.

what dreams may come ;)

Anyone notice the House of Mormont shield with the Bear sigil on it Jon was using at Wintefell when Ramsay was firing arrows at him.

Good job Jon recruited those 62 men one of their shields came in handy.

It was the same director who directed the Hardhome episode last season, the guy really knows how to direct battle scenes, loved the shot of Ser Davos over the burnt pyre with the sun coming through, another great shot was the tracking shot with one camera of Jon fighting for about 2 mins after the cavalry charges, great direction cinematography and sound in this episode.

Saw this on Reddit yesterday which is so boss.

Have you noticed something that is running throughout the show now?

Jamie kneels to cerci (do anything for her)

John will kneel to stansa in the north (give her rightful place at as lady of winterfell)

Podrick kneels to Brienne (her squire)

All the men kneel to Dany over in Mereen

In the books the brotherhood without banners kneel to Lady stone heart

Theon kneels to Yara

there is a theme in all them, can't quite figure it out though.....Also anyone who was the opposite of this seems to be killed, so kneel to the woman or you die.
