Baines is our main threat,Felli great player but other players around do similar holding job,not as good as him though.Baines must set more than 50%of our chances or attacks up.

Yes but if Fellaini isn't playing who will we put upfront to hit aimless long balls at?

Oh hang on a minute, we won't be doing that anymore!!!.i agree Keep Baines.

Exsqueeze if already been mentioned..but if there is a release clause @ 22mill.. do we have to accept that offer?or can billy liar haggle for more?

Usually I'd agree that a CM is more important than a CB but this isn't any ordinary left back. He's the finest Everton player I've ever seen with my own eyes and in my opinion (and many other's) he's currently the best left back in world football. It's just a pleasure to watch him.

I wish Baines played every position.

But yeeah I say this a lot, he's an absolute joy to watch play football. Hope he stays.

it means he is sold for that price. I am still dumbfounded that it would be that low. 7mil difference 6 years later when he is a vastly improved player? What a joke that is that low..

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-boss-roberto-martinez-says-1940392

The new Everton manager will not be seeking out Fellaini to discover whether he would seek a move if an offer triggered his possible release — and knows that any cash raised on the midfielder will be available for his own enforcements.

“I don’t think it’s an issue at all with Marouane,” said Martinez.
“Transfer speculation is unstoppable when you have been as successful as Everton. You will always get other teams who admire and want to take your best players. That’s normal and happens everywhere. It happens at Real Madrid, at Manchester United and Everton. So there’s nothing we have to speak about.
“What I want is him to be ready for the next season, be ready to take an important role at the football club, and understand that it is a big season for him – for the club – and to get into the Belgium team to try to win the World Cup. I really don’t believe Marouane is thinking, ‘am I going to be here?’ I don’t think that is in his head.”

Technically he didn’t, he didn’t name Fellaini

yeah that's what I remembered, but didn't want to be called a bad name. prob was Fellaini but shows how negative a lot of the interpretations that are going on are. I would much rather believe there is one for Heitinga and its all confusion, and until its revealed otherwise why should I make myself unhappy

Could be something they had to accept if Fellini should extend his contract

good quotes form martinez....further on in the artical:

Martinez is already planning to raid his former club Wigan for James McCarthy, Callum McManaman and Antolin Alcaraz.
That trio is likely to cost around £30m

 WTF, 30mil....how?????
