Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

will be gutted, especially if that rumoured buy out clause is around mid twenties. why would we agree to that, seriously? he's more than twice the player he was when we signed him. i know they are much better negotiators than us and are in a better financial state, but spurs got 30 million for modric who is 1) nowhere near the player fellaini is IMO and 2) hasn't wanted to be there for a good 2 years now. like everyone else i'd hate to see him move to another prem club, you just know he'd dominate the **** out of us every game. i've come to the realisation that he won't be with us forever, unless we get mad investement (like that will ever happen) so just hoping we will get a good price around £35-£40 which can be invested well in our squad

i wouldnt blame him if he wanted to leave , i myself would want to do something important with my career and win something if i was in his position . Van Persie left Arsenal because they werent winning anything and he thought they wouldnt in the near future . we have less of a chance than Arsenal to win anything and we arent playing in the CL . Fellaini could be playing for a team challenging for honours on all fronts .
at the end of the day when he retires he would want to look back at his career and say , i won the league with Chelsea , i was Mom in the CL final with Real Madrid , i scored the goal that clinched the title for Man Utd not i played for years for Everton and even though we punched above our weight and i was loved by the fans i never won anything .

1. I'm fairly sure he wasn't.
2. Said chart also showed him winning possession in the midfield 3rd almost twice as much as every other player he was compared to. He won possession as many times in the defensive 3rd as any of the other players, and dominated in tackle win percentage, as well as winning in ground and aerial 50/50s

I'd say that makes him a pretty good defensive player. The one point you were relying on wasn't even true.

How much do you want to bet on point one?

You also conveniently forget that a lot of those statistics will have come from him playing ACM. The chart we have been discussing doesn't mention anything about the defensive third. Nor does it cater for his propensity to fail in tracking his runner.

The proof will be in the pudding. Gibson's loss is negligible, Fellaini will drop deep and we will all be fine.

Doesnt add up to me.
1. On record as saying he spoke to Kevin Mirallas to try and convince him to join. He did join.
2. He and Everton as a whole have had a very good start to the season, bit of consistency and we could go places.
3. Days after the transfer window closes he announces he wants to leave? Aha. If he wanted to leave so much surely he would have asked in the summer transfer window?
4. I honestly think he loves the club and fans enough to not go spouting ****e like this to the press, think if he was to say this, he would say it in private.

Just my view of it all like.

OK, so it does mention the last third, but he doesn't have the best statistics for winning the ball there.

And as stated, he has one of the the worst statistics for being dispossessed.

One of the worst != the worst.

Then I'd direct you to all of the other fields which he wins in.

Not a defensive player, utterly hilarious.

Don't blame him for wanting to further is career but spouting his intentions off to the press is bang out of order.

If he wants to go let him but I'm sure DM will play hard ball over the fee and rightly so.

If i was playing for a club who i had no ties to, like newcastle or whoever finishes 8-5th in one of the big European leagues id want to leave to play for a club who won trophies year after year and play in the champions league.

This year we have to qualify for the champions league or we will lose our best players, unfortunately there's no chance of that, so expect a few departures in the summer.
