if this story isn't bs only thing I can imagine why he would say these things now would be the fact that he wants to be truthful to fans and gives moyes and fans time to deal with it. hmmm...sounds weird

2. Said chart also showed him winning possession in the midfield 3rd almost twice as much as every other player he was compared to. He won possession as many times in the defensive 3rd as any of the other players, and dominated in tackle win percentage, as well as winning in ground and aerial 50/50s

I'd say that makes him a pretty good defensive player. The one point you were relying on wasn't even true.
