Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

I love Fellaini but I'm somehow a bit unmoved by this, I think it's because he's signed a 5 year contract granting us the foothold in negotiations.
If he leaves it will be for near double and I have no doubt Moyes can turn us into a stronger team with it, like the Rooney deal this can benefit us.

Arteta hasn't had a big wage increase. He gets to play in the CL on a regular basis.

Fellaini is already on AT LEAST £75k a year, and he's frequently said he wants to play in Europe and that's his ambition.

Yep, probably more like £3m a year.

Keep reading from people that 'he gave us 5 good years'. I make that 2 years.

He's been with us 4 years. In his first season he was well off the pace of the PL and getting himself booked and suspended by committing silly fouls. He missed the 2nd half of his second season after the tackle in the derby. You could probably just about say that we've had 2 good years from him as he was excellent last season. If he's off either during or at the end of this season and supporters are understandably not getting behind him he may not reach the same heights again.

If he doesn't want to be here take the £20m+ and run.

Dunno if its been mentioned or not but will those of you at the game tomorrow will you boo or cheer when his name is read out?

What nonsense. That's just the nature of football. He has gave us a good four years. That's like saying he's only gave us a good few days because I only count time spent on the pitch! He has been here for 4 years and they have generally been good.

Hopefully moist has told him that if we recieve a suitable offer he can go in the summer, but in the meantime he needs to spend the rest of the season busting his balls to play as well as he can for us.

That way we benefit on the pitch, we benefit off the pitch from a hopefully increased transfer fee and he benefits by getting a better contract at a top club.

And every other player at Everton should be switched on enough to realise its in everyones best interests that he still plays.

That's his dad though, he's been pushing for a move since the dawn of time. Fellaini pretty much gave him the finger when he signed the new 5 year deal in November.

how do you know, seems to me moyes said sign the contract play for 1 more season and if your still not happy then you can move if the money is right, ferguson did a similar thing with ronaldo and wenger with fabregas.

Moyes probably told his dad the same thing, its no coincidence he hasnt said anything since fellaini signed his contract

It's a bit of a misnomer that Mikel moved for less, he moved for a LONGER contract.

HE OFFERED to take a lower wage. Shreds is spot on

It's not nonsense to say that he was distinctly average in his first season.

And it's a FACT that he missed the second half of his 2nd season.

His dad seems to be the lead for getting a move.
Has Fellis brother now moved into his home over here?

His brother has been over here a while. He was on the official away coaches with the EFC fans last season for a few games. He seemed alright. Didn't speak much English, but let on that he was Fellaini's brother when asked by other fans. Seemed a nice quiet lad.
